This picture was taken about twenty minutes after meeting this noisyfaced fuzzball. He had already run a bunch of laps around the little play area.
For the record: I'm working from home today, on one of San Francisco's many hills. I did not feel either earthquake, and if the tsunami gets me then you will definitely hear about it on every news source.

Two years ago today, I woke up to a BCC'd email saying my employment at Twitter had been terminated. No official explanation, no severance.
I miss my team there (TCC!), and the work we did, and the other SREs, and the office food, but I don't miss working for that petulant manchild in any respect.
And wishes. Lots and lots of wishes.
Not having the greatest day, so I'm going to revive an old, pre-birdsite, practice.
Today, I'm grateful for people who listen; for a warm, dry, safe place to sleep; and for the confidence boost I got yesterday at the gym. (I'm also grateful for other things, but those three are top of mind rn.)
