In Catfight, both players start with e a Nine-Lives Familar on the battlefield and it’s all about pumping and maneuvering with your cat to win

Here is an analysis of every card from Lorwyn Eclipsed that is legal in Catfight. A few less than normal, but definitely some interesting cards and mechanics.

New format staple!
This is the most interesting card from Lorwyn for the format so far. Being able to Blight your own cat to get it out of a Sleep Magic is a weird upside to what is intended to be a downside.

Had an event at an LGS and it went great. Lots of new players playing and talking deck strategy and getting some fantastic games in. We gave out promos to everyone who attended. We’ll post some gameplay from it to show some of the quick and dynamic games.

Important rules detail specific to Catfight regarding this card. You cannot bounce the cat to put this into play because that is part of the cost. If it was part of the resolution, it would work, but not the cost. That’s why you can Path To Exile your cat, not exile it, and get a basic.
