Bass: We had an important victory today from the courts. The court determined what we knew all along: we do not need National Guard troops in our city. We didn’t need them in June, and we certainly don’t need them in December. I’m glad a decision was made saying the president is out of line
Hearing massive turnout in the college precinct in Davidson County, Tennessee (which voted +27.4 for Kamala Harris). So high that it has exceeded 2024 turnout. If you know ANY young people in Tennessee, tell them to get out there, vote, and stay in line.
Don't forget that there is a major election tomorrow in Tennessee. Before we think about 2026, let's focus all our energy on tomorrow's election. Make phone calls. Knock on doors. Do everything between now and tomorrow to make sure Democrats can show we can and we WILL win in the south.
If you live in or you know anyone in Tennessee’s 7th district, TODAY is the LAST day to vote early.
And tell everyone you know who hasn’t voted that it is all about turnout next Tuesday. We need as many people showing up to the polls. We can do this.
Let this sink in: in a Tennessee district that Trump won by 22 points in 2024, Aftyn Behn, the Democratic candidate, has closed that gap by *20* points. Only 2 points separate her and her opponent. Republicans & Trump are running scared.
All eyes on Tennessee.

I know there’s lots of talk about 2026, but there’s a big election in Tennessee December of THIS year. Pay attention to Aftyn Behn, running for Congress in Tennessee’s 7th District. She’s 35 & a former social worker. A recent poll had her within the margin of error. Republicans are running scared.
Do not let ANYONE tell you tonight was a bad night for Democrats.
Here’s something that isn’t getting a lot of attention:
Young women in VA, NJ, & NY all broke for Democrats at nearly 80% or HIGHER. Young men did slightly better than 2024, with the majority of them breaking for Democrats.
There is hope. Keep rallying your young folks
Turns out slashing SNAP benefits, slapping tariffs on countries indiscriminately, threatening to take away healthcare, & acting like a dictator does not bode well for Americans. Awful night for Trump & Republicans, but a great night for our democracy & the comeback of Democrats.
Say what you want about Zohran, but take his win as an important lesson for Democrats.
He turned out millions of people because he brought a fresh energy, he wasn’t afraid to have fun, he met voters where they were, and he gave people a real future to believe in.
A very good night for Democrats.

This is what happens when disastrous Trump policies meet Democrats campaigning smartly, selling a concrete vision, & not being afraid of going everywhere. Horrible night for Trump.
