I never really messed around with Notator (or Logic). I went from trackers on the Commodore to Cubase on the Atari and later on PC. I’ve been using Ableton for years now, but honestly I’m barely doing anything with it at the moment.
My Atari Mega STe from 1991 needed a new keyboard. The “new” keyboard had a German layout, so I had to swap a few keys. Everything works again just as it should. Even Cubase 3.01 still runs smoothly from the hard drive.

Absolutely! The sounds are massive, and the workflow is just as incredibly smooth as the TR8s.
Moved the TR-1000 a bit lower, but since it’s quite bulky, the Virus and the Iridium had to be raised quite a bit. No magic tricks with the Roland here (actually very simple), but I think the whole setup sounds pretty nice.

The TR-8S is all sorted and runs like a dream. The TR-1000 is solid too, though it starts up a bit late. I’m assuming they’ll sort this out soon. TR-8S available if you're interested 😉
Yeah, I hooked it up to a separate output on the Hapax so I could offset the 48ms lag. I kinda remember this being an issue with the TR-8S too when it first came out.
