Basically, I think they used multiple one color negatives and then physically stacked them into layers inside the enlarger. Then sent light through to expose them onto photo sensitive color paper.

But I could be wrong.

I am pretty sure I understand but definitely like to see the process too. We used to play around with the enlargers back in college to get some great effects when doing grayscale prints.

I don’t have any specific sources. I just go through the internet and double check sources and do more research.

I watch a LOT of Chinese dramas and they will reference cultural or historical stuff which gets me doing lots of searches to learn what it’s about so I can understand what I watching.
