Correct - I want us to have a preferred style but be able to play in a different way within the same season.
This allows for injury & for when plan A & plan A better don’t work.

Both Ferguson and Guardiola definitely tweaked their style from season to season. All I’m saying is have your preferred style but be prepared to change it when it’s not working.

Next season comes after World Cup. The team won’t get a proper preseason then either. We really need to recruit well to factor for this

Did we overwork the players last season ? Is the squad not big enough or rotated enough?

If we get Wharton great.
But once again. We cannot rely on a single source for progressive passing. One of our defenders (other than Virgil) should be able to do that too.

While I agree - we cannot be reliant on Wirtz! We need to use all the methods above and keep the opposition unbalanced

All I’m saying is we need to break low blocks without wingers as we don’t have 2 right now.
When we get wingers we may need to mix it up from time to time

Many things can be true. But relying on wingers to beat a low block when you don’t have wingers is not the way forward
