Yes, it is.
It's not enough to kill farm animals. They have to be abused first.
‘Processing the lambs’ 👺“Some may keep their tails … and it’s really never a problem for us….” ..because those are sent to slaughter. The others are for breeding. #Wool = #Cruel we don’t need it. #EndAnimalExploitation #EndAnimalAgriculture #LiveVegan 🌱🙏✌️
Artificial insemination #AI is used on nearly any mammal in animal fHarming, it is much more efficient and you can get ‘top production’ 👺Animal fHarming has nothing to do with nature It is the abuse of life and lives. #StopBreedingAnimals #LiveVegan don’t support this heinous industry 🙏

Did you know that 6% of people aged 25 to 34 in Ireland identify as vegan? 🌱
Our latest national survey highlights changing eating habits across the country and offers insight into how attitudes to food are evolving. 📊
A plant-based food system removes a major layer of inefficiency.
Today, huge amounts of crops aren’t eaten by people - they’re grown as animal feed.
When you remove the middle step (animals), the same land and grain can feed far more humans directly.
Photo looking down on 2 discarded reclining chairs, the one visible is upside down on the other - so what we see is almost square, placed own grass next to a metal-clad wall. The cable and motor of the reclining chair are visible along with its zig-zag metal springs. The plywood sides of the chair (under its covering) are beginning to disintegrate. In the square recess formed on the bottom of the chair (facing the sky) is a drinks can, a plastic water bottle and an unidentifiable plastic bag, Some plants are beginning to grow there too. Some loose straps are visible. There were probably intended to tie the two chairs together.
Human Wreckage 365 project day 39: no longer reclining, upended and disconnected for nature and miscreants.
A lot better than the present shit show!
🚨Trump has launched an unprecedented assault on the environment. Where’s the pushback?
So excited to see Rei (@rtakver.bsky.social) in The Guardian! 🎊🎊
Some calm-headed, commonsense is finally surfacing in UK politics
Photo of a round-ish hole into a tunnel running at a slight slope into the ground. There are dead leaves on the floor of the tunnel and grass to the entrance’s sides and top. The tunnel curves away out of sight.
Human Wreckage 365 project day 38: opening to a badger sett. Badgers are protected by law but the UK government continues to facilitate a war against them (euphemistically called culling) to placate farmers who exploit other animals & have them killed when they’re no longer useful.
We are burning through last resort medicines to prop up industrial animal farming. That is not food security. It is public health sabotage.
An insightful piece that shows how individual change makes a big impact on systems. Vegans are engaged in a powerful boycott pushing system change & that will lead to stranded assets.
Photo of a ruined stone farmhouse with just one corner of it standing, trees growing in the middle of the rubble and only two vertical stones showing where the entrance was. In the sky, barely visible, is a short vapour trail from a plane. On the hill in the distance, wind turbines are just visible. The sky is fully blue. The foreground is grassy green.
Human Wreckage 365 project day 37: Gaian take-over, a hint of ruination in the sky & Trump-bait turning on a faraway hill if you look carefully.
Out of nowhere a sharp hook pierces through your upper lip and drags you underwater. Frightened, you do everything you can to escape, but end up drowning to death.
This is how it feels for fish. 🎣
If you wouldn't like it, don't pay for it to happen to them.
Thanks. Thought it might be & wrote that in alt text. Didn’t have time to investigate properly when snatching the photo.
Rather than mix fix, I prefer minced mixer.
Photo of some sort of trolley abandoned amongst undergrowth. The trolley is painted red & on its side. A black wheel is facing the sky. Behind the trolley there appears to be a metal barrel stuck in the ground. The circular top of the barrel faces upwards. Part of the trolley looks like a motor or engine. It’s just possible that the trolley was actually a cement mixer and the barrel was its drum.
Human Wreckage 365 project day 36: trolley folly.
Warning UK at risk of being pulled into illegal war
Why is Keir Starmer utterly incapable of saying no to Donald Trump?
Our national security requires us not to be dragged into illegal wars.
The Prime Minister is making us less safe. Did we learn nothing from Iraq?
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez doing what UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has chosen not to do, criticise the US and Israel for their attack on Iran which breached international law
Photo of a timber shed that’s falling apart. The shed is to the side of a dry stone wall covered in bright green moss. That wall stretches from the foreground into the distance. For the wall’s entire length, there is a leafy footpath on its left. There are leafless trees in the background.
Human Wreckage 365 project day 35: a wooden shed shedding its leaves while moss glows past.
"If people were superior to animals, they'd take better care of the world"- Benjamin Hoff, The Tao of Pooh
More cobblers from the Daily Fail. The comic for the hard of thinking.
I've noticed almost all litter is associated with things that aren't good to put in one's body. If people don't respect their own bodies, they won't respect the environment either.
Absolutely
Photo of a bus station’s black perforated metal bench seat with lots of food & drink packaging dumped below it. Beyond the bench is a low brick wall with windows above it. Through the windows, a vehicle hard standing is visible and bike racks beyond that. Concrete paving flags cover the floor of the bus station below the bench seat.
Human Wreckage 365 project day 34: at the bus station. What happened to “civilisation”?
Have I got this right? MAGA = Make America Get Angry
Universities are taking “steps to reduce their contribution to the climate crisis by switching to plant-based catering, Southampton becomes the latest student body to step up…

Why can’t the British commentariat grasp that Britain’s Gaza policy troubles many non-Muslims too?
Many white voters were appalled by Starmer appearing to endorse collective punishment and the proscription of Palestine Action.
They still can’t imagine “ordinary” people caring about Palestinians.
