I’ve been saying this for a long time. These are people systems. It’s possible to understand them as people making decisions. The rise of these singular individuals with outsized decision-making power is the result of many other people abdicating their responsibility. Or actively giving it over.

To everyone fighting a battle that feels too hard to bear, I can sit with you here.

Giving my keynote yesterday was so much fun and I enjoyed it so much! Great audience, a lot of laughter, people sharing afterwards that they found themselves in the situations I painted - couldn't be better!
