Finally got around to tallying up my road trip stats! It was a LONG drive, especially with a baby and a dog, but I was able to add so much length to my WIP!
I'm loving how this sweater is working up. Very grateful to have a partner who will take on the driving so I can make some knitting progress! ๐งถ
Give it a shot! You can always frog it if you don't like it ๐ฅฐ
It is! You get to see the sights and do something productive with your hands! It's so nice to have a partner that loves to drive ๐
It is a fingering weight yarn (KnitPicks Palette) on size 1 needles. Definitely tedious, but i love the fabric it is creating!
My yoke of my handknit Triangulus sweater on my kitchen table. I'm extending the bottom so you can see how much length I've added to the body.
A photo I took out the passenger window of my car. It's a desert landscape, with mesas in the background. There is a beautiful blue sky with clouds

Day 5 of driving and knitting!
We are in for a shorter day of driving, but I still have a lot of sweater to knit!
I also wanted to show a close up of the stitches to show just how teeny tiny they are!
#knitsky ๐งถ
It's definitely smaller than i usually go with, a US size 1 (2.25 mm)! Not gonna lie, it has taken me a few years to get to something like this. You'll get there!

Me too. I did my best to rinse it out last night, so we will see how it looks this morning. Of course it is right smack dab on the front ๐ญ

Can't wait to update you all on today's road trip stats! Here is a preview of today. We took a driving break and helped out a family member on her hobby farm! The dog and my son both loved seeing the animals. Now I need to get her to save me the fleece for spinning! #knitsky ๐งถ
Thank you so much!

Okay, how much progress can I make on my sweater on a 6 day, cross country road trip? Keep in mind, I have a dog on my lap and a baby in the backseat...

My testers are returning some lovely photos of the A is for Apple sweater! Carrie was such an amazing tester; pattern coming very soon! #yarnsky #knitting ๐งถ
I hand-wash, and then put in a delicates bag and stick in the washing machine for a spin only cycle! It draws out a lot of the excess water while still leaving it wet enough to block the knitting ๐งถ
