In agentic security, human intents are an important security signal. A policy enforcement point, perhaps with help from a security supervisor agent, can validate that an agent's proposed action matches the intent described by a prompt. 🧵

But here's what I keep returning to: by the time the gov't is organized, tyrannical, & rounding up the marginalized, it's pretty much too late. By that time the remedies are often armed rebellion or invasion by another country or, at the very least, extended general strikes. Cat's out of the bag.
When people hear it, I think they feel a genuine stirring, like "yes, the next time I see a tyrannical government rounding up marginalized populations & putting them in camps, I will speak up." We like the mental image of bravely standing up to a line of tanks, a la Tiananmen Square.
Some day we'll all regret this & we'll hold hearings & rend garments & pledge "never again" & we'll be just as full of shit as we were last time.

Every policy issue everyone cares about is <entirely downstream> of fixing our deeply broken, fundamentally antidemocratic, non-functional-right-now legislative, judicial & electoral institutions. Trying to Do an Abundance of Popularism will not solve this, just like it didn't in 2008-16 or 2021-25.
The real serious mass movement would not be "No Kings" but "No Presidents" & focus on a set of constitutional amendments to turn us into a parliamentary democracy. But that's obviously not going to happen, so what we need is a set of ready-to-go institutional reforms to mimic that w/o amendments:
