I honestly think he felt bad for Mierta.

It's true! When I was creating the world of "Iverna" I studied ancient Ireland, and even the Greeks, to understand and establish its magical system. I studied medieval facts on herbs, medicines and diseases to make Mierta authentic. Orlynd's dialect was inspired by Irvine Welsh, etc.

Thank you! Something happened that is a pretty triggering subject, so I don't feel comfortable sharing it on social media (especially after how this particular person reacted). But thank you for the support!

So, I'm going to do what SOCIETY refuses to do for me, and that's announce that it's okay to not be okay. You are not alone! Life sucks, but we'll get through it. I forgive you, you who made me feel like shit. People won't remember your words, but they will remember how you made you feel! Be better!

Our culture doesn't place a high value on sharing feelings and doesn't teach people how to be present for others who are experiencing intense emotions. The reality is, people going through a wave of emotion need the safety and presence to express what they're experiencing and not feel alone in it.

Also, thank you for the laughs. I have been thinking of you today. Since joining your community, I have felt right at home. I especially do today after learning my Dad abruptly passed away. I'm an only child so I don't even know how to properly react to all of it.
