I like most Sumitomo’s tracks, and the biggest issue with that in Boo Kai in Super was the placement. But new tracks would be nice, as long as they’re good and placed well.

Also, it’s funny when ends up being the only one who’s the voice of reason (as opposed to her typical selfishness), even when I think the moments are poorly writing (the Dragon Team not wanting to stop Gero at the beginning of the Cell arc, 18 and Kuririn refusing to enter the ToP).

To add onto your point, Bulma’s selfishness and vain nature works as a great contrast to Goku, especially in the first arc.

It makes her a really interesting character in general, and realizing that is why my opinion of her has improved from “eh” to “Wow, she’s great!” over the last few years.

I do think that the second half of DBS Broli doesn’t do enough with his character to make him anything more than… good.

Movie 8 Broli is an absolute menace, but I feel LSSJ devalues the original SSJ form

So my point is that M8 Z vs Super is hard for me to decide.
