The UK is facing a severe pub crisis…
From April, pubs with £100k rateable value will see Business Rates jump by £19,000 a year.
They need to sell an additional:
60,000 pints a year.
That’s 1200 pints a week.
That’s 170 extra pints a day.
Survival won’t be optional for many.
All the people lambasting Gary Linekar for being a TV personality with political views…now seem to be supporting Jeremy Clarkson, a TV personality, for his political views.

Northern Rail are a disgrace by announcing they are cutting back their Christmas timetable.
December is by far the busiest time for Hospitality.
This will create many cancellations and lost hours for staff.
They aren’t fit for purpose.

If you are sending more than 100 Xmas cards, it’s cheaper to fly to Portugal, Italy or Germany and send them from there…
