There’s an ad I keep hearing on podcasts where a woman is getting stressed out making Christmas dinner, and her teenage son says “Mum, I, er, made you a playlist on Amazon Music.” God, it is so unintentionally bleak. The whole interaction is so cold and joyless.
Maybe it’s just poor acting, I dunno.

I really enjoyed this honest insight into Irvine Welsh the person and his writing. Left me with the urge to catch-up with the novels I’ve not read yet and revisit those I have.
A Few Good Men. Best in Show. A Mighty Wind. Miss Congeniality. Barcelona. All three movies in Linklater's "Before" trilogy. Music & Lyrics. Michael Clayton. All films that were able to be made because of the production company Reiner co-founded in order to give talented filmmakers creative freedom.

I feel so bad I don’t post on here that often lol, but I swear I’m still drawing a lot. I did this doodle of Begbie not too long ago based on some descriptions @irvinewelsh.bsky.social does of him in the novels. I’m obsessed with the fact he’s described as having lots of tattoos. Hard to draw tho 😂
