Oooooooooo they say the build should be completed today …..
Then it’s a case of waiting on their courier…
This is worse than watching paint dry 🥴
@cbcycles.bsky.social - which delivery courier do you think we might be getting….

Not in the least - one of the most useful underrated delivery firms
Oh sorry I meant always late / useless - unless it’s one of our local drivers / he’s the only chap I actually have respect for
Can you still get a booooooost these days …
Nope …. Lol
Dam that’s where my new planet xyz frame is 😇
We really appreciate your patience, and please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions in the meantime.
Patience is a virtue unknown to me !!
so at the moment we’re waiting for their latest update before we can lock in a firm build date.
As soon as those parts land with us we’ll prioritise your bike in the workshop and move straight into assembly. I’ll keep a close eye on the shipment and update you as soon as we have a clearer timeline.
A couple of the key components for your build are part of a current shipment that’s taking a little longer than originally scheduled due to delays within the wider logistics network. Our suppliers are still confirming their revised delivery window,
Migraine weekend tick
V.Low light needed !
Never move that bike on
You and it have so many character memories
🚴⚙️🚴👍🏼
Not good - always be safe
As a bloke I still ensure the inside hotel door is ‘secured’ by other means …. Normally a chair wedged ! I simply don’t trust anyone these days …..
Thanks ITV / ruin a good show - lunchtime … Black Sails …. Fine show … every 15 mins - 4 adverts !!!
Brooks saddles ….. since I changed … no more issues
So after an interesting lunchbreak ChatGPT has suggested for my upcoming 455km Normandy tour to take the incoming Ti x1 12speed on gator hardshells 32mm (as I have a set only reason and not say 4-seasons that I have on the road bike)
The alternative was my Road Ti with campag 2x 12 speed on 28mm
Nice duck patch 👍🏼
I’ll let you borrow my steelie x1 and then we see how you fair ….. 🤪🙃👍🏼
Nah he went up the bourne valley the wrong way ….
I would have done that route the other way around 🤪😉👍🏼
Legend!
Cheers I’ll have look …. Or rather get my wife to look as she’s on facebucket
Where can you sensibly sell a bike - vinted is clothes ??
Good read 🚴👍🏼
Can only imagine….
I was like that when I saw Deep Purple last & Whitesnake prior .. especially now as Mr DC has now retired …. Go figure ! lol
Nutter 🤪🚴🚴
Attach an AirTag to them ….
Then loose the air tag on an Audax - miles away from civilisation…. And still beeping away nearly a year later 😂🧐🙃
Enjoy !!! Jealous MUCH !!
Not used them for a few winter seasons … how do you find them ??
This season I’ve been on marathons 32mm and whilst they took a few 100 kms to scrub up - wet grip is totally acceptable and stable
More so I prefer the wider sized tyre to my narrower 28 version on my Ti in full winter mode
I’m using 32mm marathons on my gravel (winter Audax mode steelie)
Am considering using my old (nothing wrong with) 32mm hardshells for an upcoming tour that I know has a smidge of rough stuff thrown in at the end - but I’m hoping for summer weather by that point in time…
Andy - Can’t comment on the puncture resistance re the Panracer tyres - but have you looked at www.bicyclerollingresistance.com re both tyres - you might need to change between cx/gravel and touring re the hardshells?? They also give a puncture score ….
I’ll remember not to post my for sale pic with a jet wash in the frame …. lol
I’ve used ‘skabs’ patches for ages (never leave home without some)
Granted I also run with liners …
On my lighter better weather tyres lol
I even carry skabs and spare tubes when I’m using the marathons - just incase ….
