Agreed, USA should also have been excluded. The IOC and IPC just do not have the balls to risk financial damage by having actual ethics. #Paralympics shame.

I've been a long time supporter of the #Paralympics, and even worked at the 2000 Sydney games.
But I cannot hide my disappointment at the readmission of Russia and Belarusβincluding it seems Paralympians injured as a result of their participation in Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine. π€¬
Darcie and Hamilton seemed to be quite lively and keeping it pretty tight in their first spells, I think India were pretty sensible to push it along around 3-3.5rpo. Shafali Verma was probably trying to nudge it up a bit too much when she went at a fuller one on the drive and nicked off.
With the Devils in the VFL as well...
Swans running away with it now.
Ah, takes me back to Shane Warne '99...
Guaranteed 300+ scores in 20-over games before T20 was a thing.
Ouch.
Tassie Devils have revealed their first playing jumper ahead of their VFL debut, and I have to say I like it - the new logo prominent across the myrtle, primrose and rose colours which stretch back to the 19th Century. And a change jersey of the same design on white.

But the Bloods also recruited Charlie Curnow from the Blues, so a bit of spice both ways.

A wonderful celebration of three storied clubs to mark the 175 anniversary of Hong Kong Cricket Club. A triangular tournament featuring HKCC, the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), and the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC)!
Wish I could be there!
I do kind of like it - the idea of a dip in the pool in the heat of the middle of the day is quite appealing.
However, We've all seen the odd ball end up ruined in a pint before, what does a chlorinated pool do to it!

Love seeing international players dropping back into the Shield sides. What odds we'll see much of England's red ball stars in the County Championship this year?! π€

It is now 39 years since the Australian women lost a home bilateral ODI series.
Wow, just wow.
Don't doubt it - growing up in Oz in the 80s I recall it being said a stint in County or even the Lancs pro league was considered virtually vital to getting selected for an away Ashes tours (certainly for batters).
How do you prove intent to not hire?
They will just use lawyers to argue none of the available players met their target player profiles, not that they don't pick them because they were Pakistani.
There is also a question around if they will block British-born players of Pakistani origin...
Anyone in doubtβrace is one of 9 'protected characteristics' within discrimination law (Equality Act 2010). "Race" for these purposes includes:
Race, Skin colour, Ethnic origins, Nationality, National origins
(There are other protected characteristics.)
The issue is proving intent to not hire.

What the #Hundred β which has brought division, acrimony, argument and anger to English domestic #cricket since its inception β needs most, is more controversy.
I feel like the Ski Cross needs more turtle shells and power ups.
Never mind the appalling politics of this, it is a massive conflict of interest if India end up controlling all of the franchises globally - they will literally be able to dictate availability of players to teams for other franchises and indeed for international teams.
You've got to love seeing international players in domestic red ball comps. (Are you looking ECB?)

Wouldn't it be cool for Zimbabwe or (much more unlikely) Netherlands to win the T20 World Cup from here.
FIFA seems confused as to why no one wants to travel to the US for the World Cup, but the internet has theories.

To fix Ashes cricket we need to reposition the Hundred as the centrepiece of English cricket... Oh wait, we tried that.
