One thing that is a concern is that we still have not addressed the lack of grit, which likely cost us the series against Washington.

Someone out there reminded me of how the Leafs were hanging onto their prospects without properly building the team for playoff hockey. We must avoid that mistake.

My problem is that we have not solved our main issues. We needed a proper RHD who can be a proper 5th D-man and, especially, grit to address our shortcomings from last year's playoff appearance.

I would have loved to get AJ Greer for the grit front. As for the RHD, Whitecloud would have been great.
