A greenhouse and large garden is the dream!

I think the humidity is pretty major for orchids. They aren't near a window, they're basically right outside my 2nd floor bathroom underneath a sky light that has a lot of filtered light so they don't get any direct sun.

They do require specific care and a certain environment. I have mine in an area where they get filtered sunlight but they also get a lot of humidity and moisture from the air which I think is what is helping them thrive. One day I hope to have a greenhouse full of them!

Aerial photo of my orchid in a black pot with sphagnum moss. It has a lot of aerial roots and currently 4 flower buds on its stalk that have been consistently growing for a few weeks. There is a small succulent in front of it and another orchid in a green pot to the left.

I've been so patiently waiting for these flowers to open. I hope they do 🤞🏽🤞🏽

I've also written 17.1K words! ✍🏽 Maybe if I write another 1000 at least one flower will make an appearance lol
