The U.S. Central Command also confirmed Sunday morning that, along with those killed and seriously wounded, "Several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions."
These are the first reported U.S. casualties as Operation Epic Fury continues into its second day.
Iran launched hundreds of missiles into Tel Aviv late Saturday night, causing damage in major central areas. These retaliatory strikes followed the U.S.-Israel attacks on Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz and other major cities across Iran earlier that morning.
