It’s World Wetlands Day! 🌿🌊

Canada is home to ~25% of the world’s remaining wetlandsβ€”but in urban areas, up to 98% have been lost to development.

Wetlands reduce flooding, filter water, and protect biodiversity. Let’s protect what remains, restore what’s been destroyed, and put nature first πŸ’š

School's out for the summer but that doesn't mean the learning has to end. Spend time outdoors with your little (or not so little) ones watching the birds, flowers, fish, mammals, insects and more. Use apps like iNaturalist or Seek to help identify what you're seeing. And most importantly have fun!
