The Hapy Egyptology Society Attitudes to Disability in Ancient Egypt Born with Cerebral Palsy, Kyle Jordan has been passionate about ancient Egypt from an early age. He completed his masters degree at University College London, where his thesis explored the use and significance of disabled bodies within early societies in Egypt. The many lectures he has given have proven to be thought-provoking, occasionally funny and often moving. Next Saturday 11th October, I'll be travelling up to Barnsley to deliver a lecture for the wonderful Hapy Egyptology Society. This lecture will be an overview to my work on disability in Ancient Egypt, focusing primarily on what we can tell about the ancient Egyptian's attitudes towards disability.
