I am coaching a new student recruiter in our universtity marketing team.
The one tip that helped her the most:
"Don't talk about study programmes.
Ask about the student's ambitions."
People LOVE talking about themselves.
Grant them that, and they practically recruit themselves.
It may be his favorite word, but I'm not sure he fully grasps it. Or he does, and repackaged it nicely for his audience.
Currently at 50%... Getting read to jump.
