hi speaking as a narrative lead on a GOTY and long time builder of VO pipelines, this has literally been a solved problem for ages with text to speech and other tools so we haven’t ever needed evil shit like genAI for this solved ass problem. This is basic shit.

got my dithering program workin the other day, and now that thats set up its pretty easy to mess around with all kindsa different error diffusion patterns and stuff!

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.
