This looks like a great way to prevent people in Kenya from having to watch you have sex.

Only works on Pixel6 and newer, but OEM devices in collaboration with Motorola coming
AI is great, as long as you're careful not to slip into the "halo effect", "authority bias", "sunk cost fallacy", "IKEA effect", "automaton bias" and/or "optimism bias". Other than that, awesome!
I find commercial surveillance to be my main interest in privacy protection, with potential political persecution close behind. People using privacy-focused products to hide criminal activity are possibly one of the greatest threats to privacy for all.
A bit of a stretch to label Yen that way. All he did was make a supportive statement regarding a policy decision (in 2024). There have been no other statements from him or anyone else at the company, before or since, that would indicate support for a particular American political party.
Proton's subject to Swiss law. The account was using a CC tied to a person. Anyone serious about extreme privacy would've used a more anonymous payment method. Further, a serious crime appears to be involved. Heroically closing your Proton account over this seems knee-jerky. Commercial surveillance
Had a dream I was on a date with her the other night...
About due for another watch of this. Back in the late 90's, I bought a kind of boot leggy CD of the soundtrack after not being able to find it anywhere for a while.
You always hear women find different things attractive about men, than men often do about women, like their voice

Encourages teens to commit suicide. Now this, of course.
Oh, get off the drunkard's knob. It's called the Department of Defense until it's approved by Congress that the name be changed.
Strange aeons....
There's something about VC's that reminds me of real estate agents...
Got my first Logitech thumb ball (was it called Trackman Marble back then?) In the late'90s and have never stopped. Good to see there's others out there. IT people "loved" jumping onto my PC when I worked in-house.

Never used anything but iPhone since smartphones came along. Experimented with a dumb/brick last year, but not the way for me. Happy to share Graphene experience if it would help.
Right there w/ ya. Hard to let go of IG completely for similar reasons. Pixelfed is like IG before it was enshitified: Primarily interesting photos, and mutual follows with strangers haha. The isolation of moving off platforms is real, but then I engage strangers who seem like-minded.
Been off FB for a bit over a year. Interesting how even when I feel like I need to log in to sell some stuff via Marketplace, can't be f#$d to take the time. Spell broken. If keen to get away from Apple and Google, GrapheneOS has been great. They showed up to kiss the ring at the WH too, so...
here's 15 plays of a Bach prelude, overlaid on top of each other simultaneously
Not a career writer, but I don't like AI to "write" for me, creatively. Happy to get suggestions on formatting and ordering occasionally. I tend to use it as a more efficient search engine for the creative work I do, but even then, normally insist on links and references to what I get back.
This Jason looks more terrifying than I remember...
Bandcamp Friday tomorrow. Check out some rare old stuff we did, and we'll probably post more from the archives eventually!

"Gaining with unpopularity"
I've done similarly for about a year. It's a bit isolating since so many people rely on those platforms. For those who really matter, I guess we find ways to stay in touch.
