There must be justice.
There must be accountability.
Not just for the United States and its citizens, but the world.

Ladies and gentleman of #America, true leadership. What America is supposed to be.
Thank you @mayor.nyc.gov, from a Northern Neighbor for setting the example in this age of followers, not leaders. And for reminding us all what American leadership ought to look like. π¨π¦ππΊπΈβοΈ
JD Vance running from accountability:
Not counting everything Trump does while in office that America will be accountable for in the history books. But it's certainly up there.
Too bad there won't be any Rapture. Because it's not a thing. It's fully made up and less than two centuries old as an idea based on a letter Paul wrote mostly. The concept is lifted from the letter without any context for what was actually being discussed. But since when do facts matter anymore? π€ͺπ€£
Oh, they're completely off their rocker. They are the single largest doomsday cult the world has ever known, in my humble opinion. And they're dragging the rest of us along for the ride. Rapture didn't happen last fall. So now they're trying to jumpstart it, it would seem.
They are anti-Christ. The bastardized version of Christianity that these people push forward l believe will be looked back on and written about as one of the greatest heresies Christianity as an entity ever allowed to come to fruition.
Correction: They were killed BY religious extremism.
No thanks, Danielle.

I think he knows he's dying is what's happening. And he just doesn't give a shit at all. He wants to burn the entire world down because he knows what his legacy looks like. It's like he said in his letter to Switzerland. To paraphrase, if he won't be remembered for peace, he'll be remembered for war
"But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea." - Matthew 18:6 (Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition)

Just gonna lay this here.
I don't think any commentary is required.
Does anyone else ever feel a sense of existential shame when thinking about how future generations and the history books are going to look back at this sorry episode in history?
Israel is bombarding, literally bombarding, two Middle East capitals, Beirut and Tehran, killing 100s of civilians, and yet the US and UK media continue to portray Iran as the threat to the region.
Israel has nukes, but Iran is the nuclear threat.
We live in Orwellian times.
It's just Islamophobia; pure and simple as far as I'm concerned. And it's repugnant through and through.
But look at what we're dealing with; keyboard warrior boys who've taken their fan-fic version of "Christian crusades" a little too seriously.
PS - the crusades aren't a flex, but a disgrace.
I've found myself thinking in recent days often about this particular speech of Charlie Chaplin & its painful yet hopeful relevancy.
To my #American, #Jewish, #Muslim, #Sikh, #Iranian, #Ukrainian brothers and sisters and beyond; to #myfellowhumans I share this now from #Canada.

Given that here in Newfoundland one in two people will be diagnosed with cancer and early detection is key, I think this is a brilliant idea.
As an #author whose current #WIP draws from some amazing "banned" material, I could not agree more. πππ§βοΈπ
The lack of concern for human life never ceases to astonish me. I should be jaded to it by now, but it still boggles my mind.
Maybe we're both sort of right and he's a power-bottom
Corey to Markwayne tonight:
I feel that so much; the conflicting feelings. I think he's become quite repugnant. But also I feel badly because it really does feel like it could be related to his stroke. I think it's a healthy place to be probably.
