Beyond true to be honest, Place feels a lot more friendly and welcoming than Twitter ever did, plus you don’t get Elon’s ass forced in your face on your FYP so I’d say that’s a win

For all the agonies of the indie ecosystem I do think it's so cool how you can just Decide to Do Something and then do it. Write a book. Learn formatting. Learn how to paint or photoshop cover art. Start a serial. Webnovel or webcomic. Start a patreon. Just do it! Learn as you go.

The secret to gamedev, I think, if you wanted to know a "secret", is that you're never 100% certain of what you're building. You're winging it a lot of time, checking what you think you know against other perspectives and then trusting that your ideas will work. It's all riding the ripcurl of chaos.
