And keeps basically forever.
🚨"Proposals could include handcuffing children."
Where is the humanity?
The dehumanisation and scapegoating of people seeking safety here by our Government is frightening.
This cannot and should not be normalised. Ever.

Small coffee cup - one full cupful each of oats, milk, and water. Not to everyone's taste, I appreciate, but I enjoy the results.
Your own purrsonal assistant! 😬😺
More than 86,000 women have now signed the Not In Our Name letter to say that trans exclusion is not what we want and should not be done on our behalf.
If you’re a woman who believes in dignity, fairness and standing alongside our trans+ siblings, add your name:

When Israel and America claim that this war is God’s will, remember that Jesus said that peacemakers are the children of God, not the warmongers.
The predictability of liturgical worship can make a huge difference in being able to concentrate, rather than worrying about what's coming next. (See also service books v powerpoint)
Presumably the previous price was for the bit of land?
All the photos look AI to me - not modern AI, but that 'photo-realistic' version from diy room planning software c2005.
The only time I've led it, it was also cassock only. But that was based on a gut feeling, not sure if it was 'technically' correct.
None here. After an afternoon at my desk, I wanted a walk. So it started raining.☔️
Congratulations!
Good morning early birds!
My week has been mostly trying to deal with the organ at church. Long story short, it doesn't have a locking lid, someone messed with it, and now we need to a) get it fixed and b) create some kind of barrier to prevent further damage.

9.30am as every week, and 7.30 tonight. 17 people in total, plus me. That's comfortably over half our usual Sunday congregation.
Colour and described shape says tailors/ dressmakers chalk to me. Comes off some fabrics very easily, but stains others like crazy, so might stain paper, too. (I've learnt from experience to test it before use on projects)
(Not quite sure that 'like' is exactly the appropriate reaction, but options are limited)
Unpleasant discovery during curacy: if you store all the foodbank donations safely, the rat will munch away on the remains of the Christmas candles.
We use Hymns Old and New, which I think is less drastic, but it does change everything to third person, so it becomes more doctrinal statement and less hymn of praise. Which bugs me.
Thanks for the reminder. I'm planning to ask a member of the congregation, but had forgotten about offering them my damp cloth afterwards
If it helps (probably doesn't) I could read that squiggle as 14.
Ours came from a jumble sale in the 80s; having looked it up, I think it must be the original 1970s version, BR only. I never even knew about the later version.
I didn't know there was a new version. * heads off to hunt for it....*
Great Game of Britain is pretty much guaranteed to bring out the vicious side of anyone, though. Fun, but possibly inappropriate 🚂😁
Ok, that's reasonable. I think I misunderstood your point. My position is very much 'don't muck about with the liturgy; it was written that way for a reason, by people who knew what they were doing.' Liturgy has been very formative for me over the years.
I'm not so sure. Lex orandi and all that. Even when not deliberately intended as teaching, the words of liturgy seep into our consciousness.

Happy Radio Day to all those who celebrate.
Thanks for the suggestion. Average on the whole in this region, though one is at 100%
At the gront of the picture is a standard garden lawn, but further back it's underwater and starting to resemble a reasonably sized pond.
I think we can safely stop saying the rain 'is good for the garden' by now. How long until ducks start taking up residence?
The UK government is proposing radical and punitive changes to settlement rules. This is settlement, not citizenship. The consultation is open until 12 February; please respond to it and oppose these evil proposals. Amnesty have a good guide: www.amnesty.org.uk/resources/gu...
