Heβs been struggling there in general lately
If Curtis isnβt in contention to start at Gala after tonight, thatβs a problem
Liverpoolβs midfield really runs the risk of being massively overplayed. Iβm not sure of the solution here but this teamβs biggest risk is burnout.
Hear me out: maybe moving Mo and Gakpo closer to goal will enable better execution in key moments
The players Liverpool have available outside Wirtz and Hugo are still high quality players who should be better equipped than a 50/50 chance (or slightly below).
To an extent yes and to an extent the challenge of coaching is solving problems
Who is speaking about long term. Tactically players can be told βdo thisβ as part of a game plan. Thatβs the entire point of a game plan.
Bradley has the speed to overlap as well, just didnβt. Dom was also fast enough to do it.
Bringing Mo infield and having the FB progress forward isnβt a drastic system change. I think youβre taking a narrow view of the kinds of incremental changes one can make.
There are a lot of legitimate questions to ask about Israel's role in lobbying the US to fight this war in Iran, and also a lot of antisemitic conspiracies about the "Zionist-occupied government" going around. I wrote about sorting through those fuzzy lines here: www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
If they canβt, whatβs the point of doing any advanced scouting of opponents or video review of your own performances? Slot certainly has limitations in the squad that is not able to be fixed right now. The suggestion that tactical tweaks cannot be made is rubbish.
The flip side to this is that every single team in professional football has some ability to tweak their game plan to some extent. You canβt make drastic tactical changes and have them come across as coherent but a coaching staff can and should make adjustments based upon opponents and tendencies.
What is the βrightβ length for a movie?

Drain the swamp (Secaucus)
Negative tactics arenβt new to football and a re perfectly valid ways of playing. The issue I have I just how much time is taken out of PL games. At the end of it, the only thing that stops it is a clock that stops when the ball is out of play and a means to force faster restarts.
This is why you donβt victory lap your bad takes 8 minutes into a 90 minute match
City are the ones bottling this thing
That was a good albeit exasperating listen
Which makes sense. Itβs all a bit we have limitations and the struggle is how to work around them.
As pointed out, correctly, he comes on at 0-1.
I lost the thread of time. Thatβs my bad. I absolutely agree on the need to start games better because it will lessen the need to βkitchen sinkβ it and might just have us managing better game states.
My big issue with how Liverpool approach the game at 1-1 is bringing Chiesa on for Ibou and moving Gomez central and Jones to RB. Surely the move would have been withdrawing Macca or Dom. I donβt quite get moving that many pieces and destroying your shape.
I am not a big fan of Domβs cornrows

Really just donβt think heβs around come start of next season
