Billionaires are using a loophole to avoid Medicare taxes. Closing it β and eliminating other ways around the tax for wealthy business owners β could raise more than $250 billion over 10 years for the program.

To give you a sense of how pervasive this problem is - my ER missed my STROKE this week! The arteries to my brain are so narrowed, and they discharged me with no treatment. If I get my BP checked lying flat it feels like im being strangled to death.
ER totally missed it.
This is why we need a patient revolution. Healthcare is sick and we all need to demand reform. We need more caring and slower care. Please support @patientrevolution.org and its efforts to reform industrialized healthcare.
Corruption in healthcare. This is why we revolt.
Caregivers unite! Against cruelty and the cruel exclusion of any persons from care. Fear bites your tongue until you learn that you have no voice. Caregivers speak up for your patients! Letβs find our collective courage and stand up for care.

There are things every one of us can do in our daily lives to help ensure free and fair elections β and, in doing so, limit Trumpβs power. Some actions are small β so small that you might dismiss them as unimportant. Donβt. Every important journey begins with a single step.
This is getting fewer headlines than it should. After coming to power promising to help working people, the president is revealing his real priorities by actively making it easier for banks to rip people off.
Until we are all aware of this crisis, nothing will change. Pay attention and speak up. Industrialized healthcare does not lead to careful and kind care (which are both needed to have any meaningful healthcare). Consider following @patientrevolution.org to learn more and get involved.
Every part of the healthcare system is stretched and at or near crisis level, but the ER departments are in serious crisis. THE PITT and this article show how hard it is on the healthcare professionals--WHICH HAS A DIRECT IMPACT ON PATIENTS TOO.
The photo shows a protester holding up a sign that reads, "Some of you slept through history class and it shows." The protester's face cannot be seen.
My favorite sign (for obvious reasons) from today's "Hands Off!" protest n Charlottesville. Over 2,000 people showed up. Darn good for a small metro area. ππ½ππ½ππ½, to @indivisiblecville.bsky.social for organizing the event. BTW, the protester's father is a retired history professor. Clearly a good man.
Those same people should also be given adequate monetary compensation, whether they return or not.

My daughter went through hell the last two years. Hope u r ok now.
Healthcare in its current form cannot accommodate this often enough and thousands suffer because of it. We need more advocacy for SLOWER, KINDER healthcare! Please check out @patientrevolution.org to learn more!
Nervous Musk, Trump, Vance have all been outclassed in public arguments these last few days. Government failure, stock market crash, and dictatorial alliances are not popular. People are starting to realize that there is no truth here beyond the desire for personal wealth and power. (2/2)
Something is shifting. They are still breaking things and stealing things. And they will keep trying to break and to steal. But the propaganda magic around the oligarchical coup is fading. (1/2)
The divide in politics today is between unreality and reality. Those who seek to rule the world blur human experience and smudge memory, making cooperation and friendship laughable and unthinkable.
Ukraine resists an unreality war.

Itβs far too soon to ascribe responsibility for the horrific DC plane collision, but itβs not too soon to say that dismantling the safeguards afforded by a functioning federal government put us at significant risk. And itβs irrefutable that, since January 20th, we are all less safe.
Karoline Leavitt @PressSec This is NOT a rescission of the federal funding freeze. It is simply a rescission of the OMB memo. Why? To end any confusion created by the court's injunction. The President's EO's on federal funding remain in full force and effect, and will be rigorously implemented.
WH Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt just clarified on X that the rescission of the OMB memo was simply to get the federal court case to go away, not lifting the funding freeze on anything that goes against Trump's EOs
