A project three years in the making, Remorse of Conscience contains such tracks as “Mnesterophonia,” “A Charitable View of Temporary Insanity,” and “Telemachean Echoes.”
Move over Kate Bush. Agenbite Misery will have you banging your head (which is not uncommon when reading Ulysses anyway).

Telemachean Echoes
Did you ever wonder when a Ulysses-themed metal album was going to come out? Wait no more. “Remorse of Conscience,” the debut album by American metal trio
@agenbitemisery.bsky.social transmutes Joyce’s modernist novel into grindy death metal and atmospheric epics.

Making Finnegans Wake Accessible: The Project of Finnegans Web
Join us for a presentation of the Finnegans Web project, aiming to make Finnegans Wake more accessible, by co-founder Kenji Hayakawa.
While my talk will be mostly about Finnegans Wake, I also believe that we need to have a broader conversation about how to navigate the tension in literature between accessibility and complexity.
