He is fine. We have worked out a routine; I slowly move the chair, giving him time to safely move.
There is a cat in this picture. He likes to hang out in the hammock created when the chair is reclined. Makes getting up challenging.

Whether it’s Republicans causing chaos with random arrests and deportations, Republicans causing chaos with mass layoffs, or Republicans causing chaos with whiplash tariffs, voters are exhausted by chaos from both parties.
