One of Scarlett's red flags is that she reframes harm (to herself or others) as responsibly. "Someone has to be the one to do it" sounds noble until "it" is something horrendous. Like uhhhhh rationalizing throwing away her humanity for post-human augmentation

For Mercer loyalty is another tool. It is useful to him so long as it serves his projects or goals, and he does not care if someone 'feels' loyal to him only that they stay out of his way when it involves his work. Betrayal for him is similar to Lawrence, a failure of understanding.
The relationship, and for the other person to willingly choose harm and destruction over their shared relationship and trust.
Scarlett understands loyalty as a deliberate repeated choice to stay committed to people or principals even through disagreement and challenge. Betrayal cannot happen without loyalty and loyalty only happens in a reciprocal relationship, it required her to put her time and commitment into (1/2)
Lawrence understands loyalty as intellectual alignment. It is the quiet agreement to live within the laws he recognizes as governing the world because they are inevitable. Albert Wesker is baby girl and Birkin is like a little pet racoon that def has rabies, but I love him anyway ;w; They both together took an hour to draw and I think I'm learning better ways to make the sketching phase more efficient which is nice sense it's where I spend most of my time
