Not only is today the day that the debate organised by Stephen Gethins MP on the ‘Impact of the 2016 EU membership referendum on the UK’ will be held in Parliament, but it also marks 4 years since Russia’s full-scale invasion on Ukraine. This reminds us how important it is to work with Europe.
Ahead of the Brexit referendum anniversary debate, people across the country asked their MPs to attend and take part in the discussion in Westminster Hall. 11,667 emails delivered and 607 MPs contacted. Our strongest Write to MP campaign ever.
Tomorrow, there will be a debate in Westminster on the ‘Impact of the 2016 EU membership referendum on the UK’. Ahead of the debate, we asked you to write to your MPs and urge them to attend, and 11,667 emails later, 93% of MPs have been contacted - our strongest Write to MP campaign ever.
