We ate liver and liver sausage regularly when I was growing up. But I’m 80 years old. I wouldn’t touch either now. There are so many chemicals in feed, and chemicals deliberately given to the animals, that those livers must be incredibly toxic. Also, cooking liver is a major undertaking.

Age 80 here, a bit of college French remembered, don’t know any Spanish but loved every minute of Bad Bunny’s show. So alive, so happy, so historic, and who can resist a tall, good looking guy?

Meanwhile the only maternity ward in Johnson County, IN is closing. They have to increase the military budget to keep the economy going as other countries quit buying our war materials. The military spending is a big part of the national economy. Goodbye European buyers.

And Al Gore. And Hillary.

It’s been quite a while since I quit, and it was an excellent choice. Even before twitter was completely destroyed, it had a way of intensifying everything. Too much got blown out of proportion and distorted. Bluesky is calmer and doesn’t drive up your blood pressure.

It’s a good time to reread Gen. Smedley Butler’s 1935 pamphlet ‘War is a Racket.’

A third term is the one thing I’m not worried about because his health is so bad. But will Yarvin and Thiel be able to steal an election for Vance? I don’t believe he could win without help.

I was 21 when TOS aired, & reading stacks of sci-fi. It was breathtaking, groundbreaking, a huge break from the usual crap on television. Some of it was silly, sure, but Roddenberry tackled important issues. And there was a woman in a pivotal role. A tough, smart, feminine woman role model.

It’s because we have a weak p, pathetic governor and lieutenant governor, but I’ll take the win. Frankly, I was astonished that my Republican state senator and rep both voted against the bill. Everyone I know phoned and phoned and phoned.

It was named for a friend of Abraham Lincoln‘s, Alfred S White, a renowned abolitionist. The crime against this woman was horrendous and the people here are outraged.
