It’s the first anniversary of Shrimp and Grits’ gotcha day! 🎉 This past year has been so wonderful with the three of us sharing our lives with these two ridiculous creatures (complimentary). Please enjoy this picture of them cuddling just yesterday.
Finally captured one of Grits’ favorite activities: ripping a cardboard box to shreds. You can see him spit out the pieces on the floor so Shrimp can bat them around the house. Teamwork! 😻
Grits, a gray piebald cat, lays under a nice chair. He’s tucked into a little cave he’s made after ripping down part of the lining under the seat of the chair. His expression shows that he holds no remorse.
Grits: “Of course I didn’t rip the lining of this nice chair to make myself a little cave. And, quite frankly, I’m a little insulted you would even suggest that.”

I was finally able to get a good video of Grits playing with his favorite toy in the whole world! He plays with this every day and can spend a pretty good amount of time each time

I did my regular removal of Shrimp’s toys from under the treadmill (his favorite hiding place), so I sprinkled them around him while he luxuriated in the sun. As you can tell, he was very pleased
Enjoy almost an entire minute of Shrimp making biscuits on my blanket as he dozes off while purring very hard
