Aldi had Shepherds pie on sale in the freezer section, so it ended up being that, roasted zucchini, and a garden salad with jalapeño-lime ranch.

But it’s also already 8:00pm, and 😭😭😭

I’ve had migraine brain for two days, and forgot to pull the stuff out of the freezer for dinner tonight (was able to coach my roommate through the flatbreads and salad last night).

Gotta figure out what to food for tonight since emergency pizza would be a little on the repetitive side.

That’s what I was hoping for! I think there just ended up being too much moisture in them.

Not quite lol I added some flour and egg to the leftover mash, then rolled them in some spiced corn starch so I could get a crispy coating.

Don’t think I added quite enough flour though.

Not every cooking experiment works out. Tried to use some leftover loaded mash to make air fried potato dumplings.

I don’t think I added quuuuiiiiite enough binder to the dough, & they got all melty at the last second.

Still tasty (since the mash was great), but not what I had in mind. Oh well lol

Took Reese to our favorite little brewery, and they’ve got a DJ playing grunge and alt rock out on the patio.

So I’m grooving to nostalgia tunes and munchin’ on sweet potato fries while Reese runs around with kids on the lawn lol

Tried a new little taco shop called Papi’s Tacos and More that opened up around the corner. Roommate got the steak chimichanga and I had the shredded chicken enchiladas, and it was all pretty fuckin’ solid!

Gonna have to try more of their stuff as the weather gets nicer!

Mr Pieces is getting very spoiled with these park adventure walks we’ve been doing.

He KNOWS it’s rainy outside, but is absolutely sure that if we go to a park, the weather will be perfect for an hour long walk lol

I wouldn’t be mad if they brought it back without Joss. So much potential, but… that man is garbage.

That is so fucking cool, I love it!

I’ve had a cig here and there, usually on a packed patio on the presence of a gaggle of drag queens, but I don’t think I’ve ever bought a pack on my own.

If you haven’t watched it, ‘Fleabag’ is also incredible. It manages to profoundly hilarious and sad at the same time, but the insane amount of perseverance the main cast of characters have just makes it so damn easy to rewatch.
