Not great, but not disastrous (and I wouldn't even really class this as an "injury" personally)

I'm hopeful that he's only not travelled to the warm weather camp as a precaution and for some further rehab rather than a fresh injury (unless I've missed any further updates than the one Bobble gave the other day?)

I don't think anyone thinks Moyes is perfect (least of all Moyes himself!) but I think you do need to be careful what you wish for (e.g. Graham Potter/Thomas Frank etc.) and I think he's been the safest pair of hands for the TPF/BMD "transition".
Maybe it depends how long that transition lasts? 🤷‍♂️

Yeah that was my point on TPF really. I'm not saying we're completely out of the woods yet - we could easily be back down there again next season - that's why I'm trying to enjoy our current lofty position and stability, and ignore the relegation battle (and definitely schadenfreude!) completely!

The only "drift" I'm seeing (overall) is upwards! 😁

It needs to be progress year on year though - agreed on that point. The improved financial situation and just the general stability gives us SO much more of a foundation to do that.

I'm delighted with where we're at - never thought we would be.

I posted this on The People's Forum recently in a discussion about the relegation battle and our current situation.

It's maybe a societal issue to seem to want everything immediately, but I more than happy with "slow and steady" improvement - especially after the last few decades of decline at the club. I think people have short memories of how bad things were. It's a huge change over a very short timescale.

I'm perfectly calm about the situation personally (including our manager). Having heard Angus Kinnear set out his vision in person last May, I still have faith in that and I am happy with pretty much everything that the new owners/management team have done so far, as it fits with what he said.

And in a few years, once they've dragged more Tory voters over there, that odious grifting toad Farage will head in the opposite direction and become the leader of the Tory Party, taking all his devoted fanbois across with him.

Terrifying thought but sounds like exactly the sort of thing he'd do 🤷🏼‍♂️

It's not WHAT is said, it's HOW and WHEN it's said, WHERE it's directed, and WHO is present.

I've always had an issue with how and why words are categorised as "swear words" when they're just words like any other words 🤷🏼‍♂️

Context is absolutely everything.

From the few Danish people I've worked with I'm not sure they even do "urgency" - some of the most chilled and relaxed people I've ever met!
