a year and a half into its run Hello Darkness still wows, no joke the hit / miss ratio is bananas. everything is good, the stuff I couldn’t show is great, it’s great cover to cover. “what if there was an anthology that just didn’t miss when it came to hiring artists” what if indeed, hombres.

Howdy, folks! I'm going to give this app another look. I'm a recovering comic book addict and podcaster. These days I'm selling off 90% of my comic collection and curating it to something fun.

Got home to see a package of @ignitionpress.bsky.social books had arrived. I ordered these as soon as I knew these were live after SDCC. I'm looking forward to checking all these out. If you're curious, just over to their site and order the First Look book and see what they've got coming.

This is a crazy amount of books, folks! I've read 75% of these books (or more), and there's a lot of fun reading here.

While I'll always be a fan of his comics, it was his kind gesture of giving up his room at the hotel at Heroes Con to my friends and I that got stuck in a room with one bed. He was the first comic creator I had ever met and remains one of my favorites. He will be missed.

I looked on Ebay for @topcowofficial.bsky.social promo posters that retailers got over the years... wow! There's a lot! I want some to frame and hang in the home office. It's going to be hard to choose those first couple.

I did grown-up things today. I renewed my medical benefits, and I bought binders for my baseball cards.

I received my copy of Metal Hurlant #1 today from @humanoids.com and their Kickstarter. I'm very curious about this book and look forward to diving into it over the weekend.

Picked up Green Arrow #1 from 1983 yesterday. Also continued with my Superman family purchases. New Action Comics. New Supergirl.

I grabbed a @skybound.bsky.social Battle Beast #1 blind bag today and pulled this cool book.

Good morning! Another weekend has gone by, and another small addition to the reignited Superman collection. I really need to find a local shop that has a $1 bin of DC books.
