Quickbooks βββββββββ why they call their parent company 'Intuit' I'll never understand. Maybe it's ironic.
I've lost Β£700 in commissions this month due to my own silly mistake. I was supposed to opt into a private offer. The merchant had reduced the public commissionable rate from 10% to 1%, and then offered me 20% -- but I had to opt in. FFS! I didn't see the email... Gutted, but lesson learnt...
I even bought and organised an βart cartβ for all my kids colouring and craft stuffβ¦ #procrastination
In January, my house is spotless, well-organised etc. Not because Iβm on joining the βnew year new meβ brigade.
Quite the opposite.
Itβs because Iβm procrastinating from doing the tax return Iβve had 9 months to file. Could have grown a full baby in that time.

This is after they deleted my 13 year old Facebook page with 110k fans for βimpersonating a celebrityβ (wasnβt) again, with no way to get it back. Feeling a bit done with the whole platform tbh
Going round in circles trying to get account back. Thereβs no way to do it as I canβt log into the offending Instagram account. Going to pay for verification and contact support that way. But itβs shocking you have to pay Β£10 to try and get anywhere. What a racket.
For Christmas, Meta deactivated my 20+ year old Facebook account due to an Instagram account I donβt own. (I can only guess that itβs been created via a dodgy app Iβve used). A bit upset about all the photos and memories Iβve lost.
A story on The Indepednant website, with a few lines of visible text, and multiple adverts covering the page.
Fantastic reading experience
We could go on about how we welcome publishers, we don't demote links, we encourage independent developers to build apps and extensions on top of Bluesky's network.... but instead, we'll show you.
All thanks to the incredible community here! π¦
But what about a pear tree that comes with its own free partridge, is that acceptable? Or still a no?
Nice tool ππ
This looks like Iβve just tried to plot a chart, gone wrong, got angry, and scribbled all over it
We want Bluesky to be a great home for journalists, publishers, and creators. Unlike other platforms, we don't de-promote your links. Post all the links you want β Bluesky is a lobby to the open web.
People often ask me how to know for sure if an image was created by artificial intelligence. So I marked in the attached photo (in the red circles) some clues that make me suspect that it's a fabricated photo, although it's not possible to say with absolute certainty in this case.
