Why should you implement #BIMI?
BIMI enables brands to have control over the logos displayed with their email.
It is important to know that BIMI is not a security solution, although it requires the use of strong email authentication solutions like #SPF, #DKIM, and #DMARC at enforcement.

How does #BIMI work?
This DNS record contains a URL to a logo and a VMC. A mailbox provider (MBP) will check the sending domainβs DMARC policy before completing the BIMI validation. The MBP may use the logo from the URL in the BIMI record to populate the image of the email sent from that domain.

Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) is an emerging email specification designed to enhance email authentication and brand recognition within supporting email clients. BIMI leverages the existing DMARC protocol, before displaying brand-controlled logos.
