We designed our Diverse and Equal Representation Toolkit to help political parties become places where people of any gender, protected characteristic, and marginalised communities feel welcome and can succeed.
Women and marginalised groups face more online hostility. This ranges from harassment to coordinated abuse.
The result? Many are discouraged from standing for public roles.
