Some Saturday afternoon painting. I've finally started my Battle Sisters, which I've been simultaneously looking forward to and dreading. Also, my sister gave me some beer from a local microbrewery for my birthday. She knows I love a good brown ale.

Finished painting my first models of 2026. I started painting this kill team on New Year's Eve and thought I'd have them done within a day or two, but here I am a week and a half later. Still, I'm pretty happy with them.

I'm planning some solo games of Kill Team in the near future. I feel that having cards in front of me will make the game easier, so I made my own. I'm doing Angels of Death, Kasrkin, & Novitiates. The enemies will be Tyranids or Chaos Space Marines & cultists.

I met my goal of finishing my Chaos Space Marines by the end of the year with a couple of days to spare. I started an Angels of Death kill team on New Year's Eve and hoped to finish them on New Year's Day, but I did something to my back, and sitting is quite painful, so they'll wait.

The Adventure Gaming Club held its annual Christmas party yesterday after school. Every student went home with something cool (the dice jails were quite popular) and a belly full of sugary goodness. The turnout was a little low, but still enough for three tables of games.

Some of my student gamemasters have been having trouble making it to the school gaming club lately, so this week I ran the #Pathfinder Beginner Box for four players. They had no problem picking up the action system. Of course, my very first attack roll was a crit against the wizard.
Yesterday, I managed to pick up the last two #Warhammer Heroes boxes at my local Target. They turned out to be the Intercessor and the Infernus Marines. Today, I picked up some Imperium monthlies containing Sororitas models for a great price at a local game store flea market.

Finished the armor trim on three more Word Bearers Chaos Space Marines. I've found that three is my limit for one sitting, because at that point my hand starts to shake too much. I'll definitely need to do some touch-ups to cover a few errors.

I managed to mail order a copy of the Warhammer Dawn of War: Onslaught board game from Target a week or so ago, and I'm finally assembling some of the minis. While they are push-fit models, I'm still using a bit of glue here and there just to make them more solid.

The painting of the trim has begun! It's going pretty slowly so far, but I'm happy with it, despite a little mistake here and there. I still have some decisions to make regarding trim on the helmets and backpacks.

Recent #Warhammer40k projects: Assembled a squad of Arco-flagellants for my Adepta Sororitas; more test models to find a paint scheme for the Space Marines; daughter & I assembled Battle Sisters; finally put some paint on Marines. Also assembled a squad of Chaos Marines, but didn't take a picture.
I think Calvin is picking targets for the players in this #Warhammer40k tournament.

It's been a busy couple of days—at least in terms of my #Warhammer40k projects. I finished painting my Tyranids Combat Patrol (except the bases). Then I finished up a few Space Marine test models. Finally, I converted an Assault Intercessor into a Grey Hunter using old Space Wolves bits.
Today's #Warhammer40k projects. The Leapers are done, except for the bases. I have to take a break to go to a family picnic now, but when I get back, I'm going to see if I can get the base colors done on the big monster.
