To be clear, at any "normal" conference SaΕ‘a's talks would have been #1 no contest. So, _imagine_ these talks.
Anyhow, at the end of goatmire @sasajuric.bsky.social and I were reminiscing about that and we settled that at goatmire his talk probably didn't even make top 3 "weirdest" talks.
And when I say "weird" I mean that in a positive sense, as in special experience and what I'd like to see more of.
Wanna know how special? Well I brought my _weird_ "Metaphors are everywhere" talk to @alchemyconf.com - where I talk about basketball, card games & fiction writing. I thought I'd be the "weirdest" talk.
But @sasajuric.bsky.social had me bet handily (maybe @redrapids.bsky.social as well...)
One of the best things last year in @elixir-lang.org was 2 community conferences popping up in EU:
@alchemyconf.com in Portugal and goatmire in Sweden!
Both were absolutely fantastic experiences.
Now goatmire is happening again, and you should absolutely go! It was an amazing experience!
I was thinking since Goatmire Elixir turned out pretty good I should maybe do another one. 30th of Sep - 2nd of Oct this year.
We have a list to notify you about the progress and when tickets drop, getting on that list also helps indicate interest.
