At my childhood best friend’s wedding today. He said I look very happy; I said I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. Then he said, “I’ve learned a lot about you this year” bc we had some deep personal talks about depression/self harm & gender identity. I replied, “I’ve learned a lot about myself!”
This week I was part of a beloved friend’s journey of realization & acceptance of their own transness as a (fellow) #genderfluid person. They told me my recent journey of self discovery & our conversations about it were major contributors to their own realization. And that is a beautiful thing. 💜🏳️⚧️
Today I will complete my first ever full circumnavigation of the globe! Just call me Magellan 😁🌎🌍🌏 SF > Zurich > Thailand > Singapore > SF.
