Even if he guessed correctly on the throw break, Virgo would have sent out of the ring either way because he would have broken the throw and still lost the round. The only thing he could have done is mash it out to save himself.

Another thing to consider is that his drinks carry on to the next round. So again: You gotta keep his drink count under 8.

As for what happened, Virgo tried to use 66P but accidentally whiffed it and tried to beat out Itazan's throw attempt with another attack, only to get counter-hit by a mid.

There was a way to stop that. Let me explain:

Shun gets stronger with every drinks, meaning that it would take about 6-7 drinks to get stronger. By the time he gets to 10 drinks, he unlocks all of his moveset. Drinks also give you a slight damage buff as well, but you can also sober him up.
