Can someone explain why photographers mob celebrities at airports? They rarely get "good" pics of anyone and the celebrities always look tired / miserable. Has always seemed weird to me 🤷🏽‍♀️

Just went back to my day job this week and everyone keeps asking me how my break was... I want to reply "Good. 30K of editing good." but that's insufficient to express my glee to non-writers. 🤣

I will keep you in mind for future projects. 🙂

Currently a sequel to a lighthearted sci fi adventure I put out last year. (Thanks for asking 🙂)

Rewrites for the one I've been working on. Tonal edit on the one I'm heading back to. 🙂

I've got to the middle of the novel I'm currently editing and have run out of steam. As this novel only seems to possess my brain at Christmas (no idea why), will I have to wait 12 months before I work on it again? 😂 Good thing I have another WIP to work on!

Sometimes a novel you're working on can feel like running through treacle. Enter my current WIP. Yet, when I checked, I found I was already a quarter of the way through the draft! I try not to obsess over word count, but sometimes you need to check if the treacle is an illusion.

Right now, I'm editing that same novel. Because apparently this book will only show up at Xmas demanding attention. 😂

It's amazing how much news I don't see since the death of newspapers. I realised this the first time I had no idea who was playing - used to see so much on the front page displayed at the newsstand or someone reading on the train! 🤣
