Daicon 4 is a truly labor of love, and an example of ingenuity and not needing money to create something beloved. The broke students had to pool money to buy 1 animation cel, then ended up cutting up vinyl shower curtains to use instead. The frames would start sticking to eachother as it was filmed.

"Brotherhood of the Wolf" is such a weird fucking movie. The æsthetics drip so heavily from the film, and it has such a fun story to tell, but then it also ham-fists in kung fu that clash very garishly with the rest of the film.
