We finally sat down and gave the customized Spurs game a try. It’s so much better with the terrain, money, score counter and all the other modifications. Now I have to decide on what board game gets worked on next.

I finally made the lid. The frame has lap joints. The floating panel is 3/4” pine which I edge jointed, squared and attempted to plane large bevels around a raised centre. Since I’m allergic to power tools, this was done freehand with bench planes. Not perfect, but pretty good for a first try.

My cat likes it.
