I think "The Order" from Cremaster 3 is the only part available on DVD. At least it's the most coherent segment (the chorus line sheep girls are great)
Yes, that's right...At the time, i had to go from Spokane over to Seattle over a few weeks to see them in some arthouse theater (long story). There were some uncomfortable scenes for sure.
I recommend drinking lots of caffeine to watch; Mathew Barney films are an exercise in endurance 😆 Beautiful and very abstract
Uh... is that Twin Peaks: The Return?? Brilliant! What a ride. I can only compare the experience to a more gratifying Mathew Barney's "Cremaster Cycle." Just as bizarre, but more competent and complete. Even though it didn't answer all of the questions, it opened the right doors to look into <3
