Here you have a swamp monster called Hugo. Who sometimes presents as a black and silver miniature schnauzer. He is standing on some grass looking up to the camera. He has a bit of a goofy look on his face. Perhaps because he is covered in mud from his paws up to his beard. His dapper orange bow tie is muddy. Hugo was having a lovely after work (his humans work, he doesn’t have a job) walk in the New Forest this afternoon, great running about, top quality sniffs, when a step in a puddle was actually a step into a bog. There he stood up to his beard in mud, a pleading look in his eyes. He managed to squelch himself out of it and continue his walk, with a fair amount of glee at his filthy state. The inevitable followed…a dreaded bath.

I ‘may’ have misjudged a puddle…🧡

Rocket is on a footpath near a stand of trees. It is early in the morning and very sunny 🌞

Rocket is sniffing around the roots of a poinciana tree in a suburban street.

The photographer is closer to Rocket, whose nose is stuck right into these bulbous knobbly roots. He has found some interesting scent he wants to explore further.

The local Anglican Church with a few stands of trees around it bathed in the morning sunlight. It is a very blue sky day.

The snow on this log is apparent, though he is prudently standing just to the side of it where he wouldn’t slip. His green jacket looks a tiny bit small for him when standing but also kinda sporty. It’s not tight.

We went to the land of the rock, and I had so much fun bushwhacking and logging. But at home, they spent 30+ minutes pulling things out of the Velcro hair on my legs and paws. They said I need adventure pants with booties. Life is a roller coaster. #Won’tLookWednesday #dogs #dogsofbluesky #poodles
